Infrastructure & Service The NCC Study Center offers for visiting researchers the use of its specialized library, scholarly exchange with its staff members, and, via its broad networks, introduction to resource persons and institutions, both academic and religious. Requirements ElegibilityStudents and scholars involved in the academic study of religions in Japan and/or in interreligious dialogue; particularly, students of theology and religious studies, pastors, teachers and scholars. Affiliation with a university, a school, an institute or a church at home is required. Status of ResearchersVisiting researcher: Research in connection with a M.A., Ph.D. or Th.D. program.Visiting scholar: Postgraduate studies. Registration FeeVisiting researcher: up to 6 months ¥30.000; one year: ¥50.000 Yen. Visiting scholar: up to 6 months ¥40.000; one year: ¥70.000 Yen. Length of StayIt is possible to visit short term (a minimum of one month and up to a few months) or to stay long term (one or more years) for study purposes at the NCC Study Center. ObligationsResearchers may be asked to share the results of their studies in staff meetings or public lectures. They are requested to submit a written report regarding their studies at the NCC Study Center (in English) by the end of their stay. Please NoteThe NCC Study Center is not able to provide accommodation or financial support. However, its staff may assist in finding suitable accommodation.
